Who am I?
I am a freelance IT trainer and consultant, mainly working in the field of educational ICT. I teach part-time and am a member of naace.The overall aim of my work is to help people develop their ideas, competency and expertise though a variety of digital and other media.

art-pod - some background
A few years back the 'pod' form was everywhere, shoes, cars...
At that time work included teaching an adult education art class as well as primary school teaching.
The domain name art-pod.co.uk seemed good for some kind of website or service that joined up my art teaching and creative work with the perception that this form had been taken up by designers and industry, and was noticeably 'in the zeitgeist'.
Nothing really came of art-pod.co.uk, at that time. Other than the name I didn't have much of a plan, or much time to pursue it. I just used the domain name (registered in 2002) for the email aliases that came with it (david@...) and redirected art-pod.co.uk to the blogger.com account I posted the odd photograph on.
